Overview[]

Designs are the different available looks for ships such as the Goliath, Vengeance, Nostromo and BigBoy ships, as well as for the Drones and the P.E.T. Designs not only change the look of the selected ship but can also have a special ability or boost a certain stat of the ship.

Note: As of 26-27 May 2016 all designs that offer some kind of bonus are considered different ships. Designs that do nothing but change the visual appearance of the ship are considered "cosmetics".

Skill design[]

A design can also have a special ability that can cost more but even give a completely new look to a ship. For more information, please visit the Skill Design page.

First Cosmetic Designs (Expo16)[]

Expo16 designs were introduced during the "M.A.S.Q.U.E.: Celebrating Technology" event (with the huge hangar update), and were available in the "designs" section of the in-game shop. They are cosmetic-only designs, and do not give any effects on their own. Most of them are available in the in-game shop for Uridium, as well as for real life currency from the payment section. However, the payment only ships' designs can be obtained for real life currency or for 150,000 U.

Cyan (old Jade) Design[]

This is the old version of the Jade design in Darkorbit. But it can still be found in the game files.
