Designs are the different skins available for ships such as the Goliath, Vengeance, Nostromo and BigBoy ships, as well as for the Drones. Designs not only change the look of the selected ship but can also have a special ability or boost a certain stat of the ship.

Note: As of 26-27 May 2016 all designs that offer some kind of bonus are considered different ships. Designs that do nothing but change the visual appearance of the ship are considered "designs".

Havoc (10% drone lasers damage boost, only if Havoc is equipped on all the drones.)
Hercules (15% drone shield boost, 20% hp boost, only if Hercules is equipped on all drones.)
Demon (1% bonus rocket damage for each drone that is equipped (Up to 10%). If 10 drones are equipped you get -5% Rocket Cooldown)

A design can also have a special ability that can cost more but even give a completely new look to a ship. For more information, please visit the Skill Design page

Company-themed designs:

These designs were firstly available in the shop for 150,000 Uridium and also in the payment sections for the duration of the The Battle for Influence event. They will sometimes still appear in the shop during events, where they are sold for Uridium and real life currency.

Each design gives a 5% bonus to influence gained for respective corporation as well as a 7% damage bonus against other company players.

Expo16 Designs:

These designs were introduced during the "M.A.S.Q.U.E.: Celebrating Technology" event (with the hangar update), and were available in the "designs" section of the in-game shop. They are cosmetic-only designs, and do not give any effects on their own. Most of them are available in the in-game shop for Uridium, as well as for real life currency from the payment section. However, the payment only ships' designs can only be obtained for real life currency.

Expo16 Sentinel

The Expo16 Sentinel is an Elite design specifically for the Sentinel ship, and cannot be used with any other ship. It is a cosmetic design, meaning it does not give any effect on its own. You will still get the 10% shield boost as well as the Fortress Ability which come with the actual Sentinel ship.

The design costs 150,000 Uridium in the shop, and can also be obtained from the "Payment" store in either a double-pack with the Expo16 Diminisher, or in the Expo16 Full Pack.

Expo16 Diminisher

The Expo16 Diminisher is an Elite design specifically for the Diminisher ship, and cannot be used with any other ship. It is a cosmetic design, meaning it does not give any bonus on its own. You will still get the 5% damage bonus, as well as the Shield Leech ability that come with the actual Diminisher ship.

The design costs 150,000 Uridium in the shop, and can also be obtained from the "Payment" store in either a double-pack with the Expo16 Sentinel, or in the Expo16 Full Pack.

Expo16 Pusat

The Expo16 Pusat is an Elite design specifically for the Pusat ship, and cannot be used with any other ship. It is a cosmetic design, meaning it does not give any bonus on its own. You will still get the +6 Laser Slots, +2 Generator Slots, +1 Extras Slots and -55,000 Hit Points that come with the actual Pusat ship.

The design costs 150,000 Uridium in the shop, and can also be obtained from the "Payment" store in either a double-pack with the Expo16 V-Lightning, or in the Expo16 Full Pack.

Expo16 Vengeance Lightning

The Expo16 V-Lightning is an Elite design specifically for the Vengeance Lightning ship, and cannot be used with any other ship. It is a cosmetic design, meaning it does not give any bonus on its own. You will still get the 5% damage & Afterburner Ability that come with the actual V-Lightning ship.

The design costs 150,000 Uridium in the shop, and can also be obtained from the "Payment" store in either a double-pack with the Expo16 Pusat, or in the Expo16 Full Pack.

Expo16 Yamato

The Expo16 Yamato is an Elite design for the Yamato re-release ship, and cannot be used with any other ship. It is a cosmetic design, meaning it does not give any bonus on its own. You will get the normal features of a Yamato ship when using this design.

This design cannot be bought with Uridium, and is only obtainable through the "Payment" section for €9.99. You can also get it in the Expo16 Full Pack.

Expo16 Defcom

The Expo16 Defcom is an Elite design for the Defcom re-release ship, and cannot be used with any other ship. It is a cosmetic design, meaning it does not give any bonus on its own. You will get the normal features of a Defcom ship when using this design.
