Interceptors are Reaper aliens that can be comparable to Protegits, these aliens are unique compared to others as they fire rockets as well as laser ammo. They are small, fast, and deadly in swarms. If you get attacked by one of these, prepare to be attacked by even more in a short time. The speed of an Interceptor can be comparable to that of a Protegit. They fire weak red LCB-10 shots that only do 300-400 damage per volley, however the R-310 rockets make the brunt of there damage output.

The Interceptor gives extremely high Uridium for damage and health. For easy comparison, to kill 7 interceptors you get 140 Uridium or to kill one Kristallon you get 128 Uridium, meaning for the same health and less damage you get 12 extra Uridium.

For inexperienced pilots, this my seem like a good way to get easy Uridium. But if you are in a credit ship or Leonov with less than 1.5k damage, do not try to hunt for kill them because if you encounter a Saboteur away from the gate, you will most likely die.
