Overview[]
A laser cannon is the primary weapon any ship has that is required to deal damage to enemy player ships or aliens. There are 4 Credit purchased laser cannons and 3 Uridium purchased ones that are available in shop. The lasers' names are shown above the lasers' picture.
The latest laser added to the game is the Odysseus Laser.

Equipping[]
You equip them at Hangar once you're logged out of the game or while you're at a base. Select the ship you want to use, press "Manage" then drag the laser cannon to the "Lasers" slots.
Laser Cannon Usage[]
Once you have equipped them on your ship, you will need ammunition for it. As they're laser cannons, they'll use laser batteries to fire. Most of them can be purchased from Shop in the Ammo section, some can be earned from the Galaxy Gates materializer or from the gates you can complete, etc.
You have to select your target by clicking on your target then pressing CTRL to fire. You can also drag your lasers to your hotbar by pressing on the small ^ from the right side of your hotbar, selecting the first box above the "1" from the hotbar then click and drag your desired laser ammunition to the hotbar. You're also taught this ingame with the help of the Incoming! starter quest. Once you have it on the hotbar, you may use your numkeys to use them or swap between them while attacking.
Refining[]
You can upgrade any laser cannon using prime ores. Each one of the ores mentioned below can amplify your laser damage. The ratio is 1 ore for 10 shots.

Tips/Trivia[]
- Your laser cannon order should be the following: SLL-01 -> SLL-02 -> LF-3 -> Prometheus Laser -> LF-P01 (for your P.E.T.)
- This doesn't mean that LF-4-HPs are useless. They're great for PvP, but they're not required in order to progress.
- If you have a laser cannon that deals greater damage than LF-3's PvE damage, always use it, till you get Prometheus Lasers.
- You can skip SLL-02s since it's only a 15 PvE damage increase.
