Introduction and meaning[]

Sub-Elite is a term used within DarkOrbit when describing a ship status that has the best equipment with items that can be purchased with Credits. This status can be considered the precursor to elite ship status, being the first out of three (1/3).

Overview[]

Sub-Elite ships are recommended to stay in the lower maps due to their low damage and low defensive capabilities, given that the PvP maps can be very deadly to them. The strongest alien you will come across is the Boss Sibelon, but there are more dangerous ones in the galaxy.

List of Sub-Elite equipment[]

A list of equipment that meets Sub-Elite status, assuming the player is using a BigBoy:

  • 16 SLL-01 or SLL-02 Laser Cannons
    • The difference between these two cannons is only 15 DPS, either works.
  • 1 HST-2 Rocket Launcher
  • 23 SG3N-A03 Shield Generators
  • 15 G3N-6900 Speed Generators
  • 8 Flax drones
  • Any elite Extras (Rocket Turbo, Auto-Rocket, Auto-Buy, etc).
    • Not required, but players will likely have some from the Assembly or Auction.
  • 1 REP-3 or REP-4, crafted in the Assembly

It is worthy noting that players will receive Elite gear from missions, Daily Login, and so on while gearing up. Because of this, Sub-Elite players will usually have a couple LF-3 lasers and SG3N-B02 generators equipped. However, until the requirements for Full-Elite are satisfied, they will still count as Sub-Elite.

Trivia/Tips[]

  • Always remember that having a clan will help you accelerate faster
  • It is not recommended to use Uridium to obtain Sub-Elite status
  • Sub-Elite status only requires Credits
  • Many items required can be purchased in the Auction
  • Your goal is to collect enough Uridium to move towards the next stage: Full-Elite status
  • You should always avoid PvP combat at this stage as you are too weak

Note2

The SLL-01 is a really good laser to buy early on, as it greatly increases your damage for cheap.
